The short version: KDay collects no data. There is no server, no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app makes zero network requests — we couldn't see your data even if we wanted to.

What KDay reads on your device, and why

Contacts (optional): with your permission, KDay reads names, birthdays and contact photos from your address book to compute 1,000-day milestones. This happens entirely on your device. Nothing is transmitted anywhere — there is nowhere to transmit it to.
Calendar (optional): if you use the calendar import, KDay looks for birthday events on your device. Nothing in your calendar is modified.
People you add manually and your own birthday: stored only in the app's local storage on your phone.

What KDay never does

No data is sent to us or to any third party.
No third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS itself.

Sharing

When you share a k-day card or send someone a birthday request, you do it through apps you choose (Messages, WhatsApp, …). KDay only prepares the content; sending happens entirely under your control, through your apps.

This website

These pages are static files served from a CDN. We run no analytics here either. If you email support@happykday.com, we receive your email address and message — used only to reply to you.

Data deletion

Deleting the app deletes all its data. That's the whole procedure.
